Room tour

 Since i haven't posted anything for a few days and i've just re arranged my room i thought i'd do a room tour. this would probably be easier if i used youtube but i thought i'd do it through photos instead.

View from outside my room.

most of my books. My collection of books
has increased quite a lot this past year.

Bedside table in which i keep my film camera,
savings jar, tv remotes, phone and lamp.

Next to my bedside table i now have
my storage boxes with art supplies
and such in them, tripod and my canon
camera case.

My desk is always quite busy now with
a candle and wax burner, sixth form folders,
pen pot, to do list book, laptop and such.
 

dvd and cd collection along
with a couple of books,
my glasses and a new roll
of film. my dvds used to be on
the one shelf but now there's too
many to fit on the one.

Finally i have my guitar in which
i keep propped up to the
side of my wardrobe which
i decorated with posters ages ago.

 Sorry for quite a long winded post. In the next week i'll be posting about how to make a simple DIY cushion. I hope you all had a lovely christmas and have a lovely new year!

Christmas time!

since i was little. love waking up to this.

christmas it's lovely and makes
it smell like christmas.

Today has been great, spent the day with my family and grandparents, basically just watched loads of the movies that we on TV, christmas special episode of doctor who and ate like as much food as possible. Not too sure about the doctors new companion though, Carla seems to be a bit random since she's Oswin the souffle girl/dalek and died. She's popping up everywhere miss the ponds though. Anyways hope all you wonderful people got everything you wanted and had a good christmas.

hair dying session...

My hair has faded loads since i dyed it so
it's time to dye it again but this time i'm adding
another colour. not sure how it'll turn out.

I tend to use directions semi-perm dye
as the colour holds for 2-3 weeks before it
starts to fade. I've been using their "plum"
dye for the past few months.

So i'm trying out directions "cerise" dye, it's
a really nice shade of pink.

Final result. The pink turned out better
than i thought it would plus it's all
so much brighter and the colours blend
together nicely.

It's almost Christmas!

Feel all festive, this year has gone so fast! Finally got round to making 

this before the year is up, hopefully i won't neglect it. I'll post things 

like my photography, artsy/creative things and little bits and pieces.
